The picturesque village of Bad Wiessee is located right in the very centre of the Bavarian Alps and is to be found 50 km south from the Bavarian capital Munich, on the west side of Lake Tegernsee.
Bad Wiessee is worth a visit at any time of the year. The spa has many attractions to offer: a 5 km footpath right beside the lake, a casino, Germany’s strongest iodine and sulphur spring, a marina, a golf course, plus a whole lot more for you to discover when you arrive.
This is the ideal location to start your activities – going for walks, Nordic walking or hiking, cycling, golfing or cross-country skiing. Or how about a visit to the numerous tourist attractions and famous cities nearby: we’re 50km from Munich city centre, it’s 40 km to the Munich exhibition and convention centre, 100 km to the city of Salzburg, 100 km to King Ludwig’s famous castle, Neuschwanstein, 80 km to the Zugspitze, 10 km to the ski resort and recreation area of Spitzingsee.
Holiday Apartments Trinkl offers a total of 20 apartments (1, 2 or 3 bedrooms) from 30 sqm – 80 sqm. The German Board of Tourism (DTV Deutscher Tourismus Verband) has confirmed the quality of our holiday apartments with 3* and 4*. Our family friendly house is located very close to the centre of Bad Wiessee and yet very tranquil. We are just a few minutes to walk from the village centre, the lake and its footpaths as well as the spa and therapy centres.
